The smoke from the wildfires made for some colorful sunsets, but fortunately was not too heavy. I could not get a picture of the red sun, but the photo shows the cloud as well as the surrounding area.
For more info on Northern New Mexico Pueblos you can visit this site here

Camel Rock, a site near the Pueblo of Tesuque just south of Pojoaque below you can see a a picture of the casino. Just about every tribe in this state and elsewhere in the country has its own casino.

I do love travelling but above all I love learning about the history and myths behind a place from the local people and there is plenty of it in Santa Fe. However I always wonder how much of some stuff you hear actually really happened and how much of it was actually made up from people’s imagination….

There is also a popular celebration for both pueblo dwellers and tourists on the 6th of June,Kings Day celebration.

Last weekend we did a little walk in the beautiful village of Uppermill.
We took our lunch at Riverside
and then we set off for our walk alongside the river.
There is a hidden Ice cream place in the middle of nowhere ideal for a small recharge stop.
